Leva uses the LINQ platform to help clients understand the current state of their business process, identify pain points, and work together to understand improvement opportunities. 


LINQ is a New Zealand developed business process modelling tool – with a difference! As well as modelling business processes it models the action and information flow   through a process alongside the relationships with the people and systems that support the process. LINQ supports business change by providing management insights into the effort and cost of the current state, helping to identify the cost-benefit of process improvement.

We can help identify the scope, the business case, and the desired future state of the change. Analysis tools allow the comparison of the cost and effort for current and future states which can help build the business case to secure funding. We support change management planning during the project through identifying the people and system impacts of the planned change. At project closure the new BAU process can be mapped to prove the delivery of the benefits.

Leva’s tailored approach to identifying business insights


Leva provides business analysis and process mapping consulting services.  We tailor our approach to each client's specific needs. A typical Leva LINQ consulting project takes 4-6 weeks and includes: 


Initial capture workshop: We capture the end-to-end business process by mapping the actions, information, systems, and people involved. Typically completed in week 1 of the commission.


Effort capture workshop: We review the business process map for accuracy and completeness with the team while also capturing the frequency and time taken to complete each action. Completed in week 2 of the commission.   


Leva analysis: We review the sketch for completeness, analyse the results and create a draft report. Completed in week 3 of the commission. 


Insights and opportunities workshop: We present the LINQ analysis and process pain points followed by an interactive opportunities discussion to capture improvement ideas. Completed in week 4 of commission.
