Our business analysis practice enables smarter decision-making through insights from business process modelling. We utilise a powerful tool that creates decision intelligence, identifies improvement opportunities, identifies the effort and cost of processes and empowers better, faster choices regarding process improvement and business transformation.
We help clients understand the current state of their business process, identify pain points, and then work together to understand the improvement opportunities.
We've completed process improvement work across a huge variety of business processes for different clients including regulatory processes, project delivery processes, reporting processes, procurement processes, financial cost object (SAP WBS) lifecycle, and the processes within a long running technical design programme.
In each case we were able to provide real and valuable business insights to decision makers on cost savings, process efficiencies and improvement opportunities.
The business process map is captured through collaborative workshops, which bring teams together to problem solve. The teams feel engaged and heard through workshops which supports the first step on a successful change journey.
An easily understood and maintainable view of your current business state is created quickly. LINQ’s visual and interactive nature makes the capture and review process significantly quicker than other methods – dependent on team’s availability and the size of the business process a business process can be mapped, and costed within 1-3 weeks.
Insights into the effort, cost, and value of the actions within, or the entire process, are displayed in visual dashboards – ready to share with senior managers and decision-makers. The value and cost-benefit of improvements are presented visually; everyone can see and understand the opportunity for change.
LINQ helps to identify where there are inefficiencies and waste in the process. It allows alternative scenarios to be created and compared, quickly building a business case for change.
Understanding the current state of a business process sets a baseline. It is an important first step for any change/improvement initiative so that clients can quantify the proposed changes’ impact/efficiency.
LINQ allows the creation and testing of multiple scenarios, which can all be costed and compared against the current state to calculate the cost-benefit of the proposed improvements.

Our Business Process Mapping Tool - LINQ
Leva uses the LINQ platform to help clients understand the current state of their business process, identify pain points, and work together to understand improvement opportunities.
LINQ is a New Zealand developed business process modelling tool – with a difference! As well as modelling business processes it models the action and information flow through a process alongside the relationships with the people and systems that support the process. LINQ supports business change by providing management insights into the effort and cost of the current state, helping to identify the cost-benefit of process improvement.
Summarising the cost, effort, people and systems involved in your process.
Shows the cost, effort and value of an individuals actions within a process.
Identifies the annual effort and cost for individual systems within a business process.
We can identify cost savings by comparing current and future state process scenarios.
Leva understands the importance of managing change well. Our business analysis practice is able to support business transformation projects from initiation through to close. We can help identify the scope, the business case, and the desired future state of the change. Analysis tools allow the comparison of the cost and effort for current and future states which can help build the business case to secure funding. We support change management planning during the project through identifying the people and system impacts of the planned change. At project closure the new BAU process can be mapped to prove the delivery of the benefits.
